Equipped with a comprehensive map available at the exhibition, visitors were empowered to locate these posters and observe firsthand the specific lighting fixtures and light sources in question. The map and passing the trail also communicated with and engaged members of the local community who may not have had the opportunity to attend the exhibition in person. The installation examines how light pollution, the changing urban space and dwindling natural resources affect a range species including our own. Invisible Moth Spells creates a space for moths and people to meet, being it either red electromagnetic spectrum, interactive urban playground or spoken enchanting moth spells. The workshop invites participants to re-discover the garden and our relationship with nature through their senses. The workshop discovers the garden through various activities, is immersive and alongside the main acitivites, tells and weaves into the shift for participants to see and view the garden through the eyes of a moth. The workshop aims to guestion our relationship with nature, wildlife and its importance in simple spaces such as the garden. Each sculpture presents an unseen hidden aspect of moths. For example, moths see ultraviolet and polarized ligh&nbsp;which is invisible to humans, so there are specific sculptures that show these traits.The work acts as a portal into the more-than-human world of insects and moths, in which light becomes material and urban space its playground. The design incorporates an array of colours, such as deep green, blue, off-white, yellow, and red. These colours are inspired by the visual acuity of moths. For example, moths can perceive blue and white flowers at night, owing to their ability to see ultraviolet (UV) light. With consideration for durability within an outdoor setting, materials such as metals like steel and aluminium were chosen. I also took into account their potential environmental impact. It is worth noting that the majority of metals used in this project are easily recyclable, thus minimizing waste. This approach was favored over alternative materials, such as paper or wood, which tend to have a more limited lifespan. The installation is set in the Põhjala factory courtyard next to local shops, cafes and restaurants, in the north of Tallinn, is free and open to visit at any time. The installation invited visitors to take a moment and re-discover the beauty of wildflowers and their importance in urban environment. The project also introduces the importance of insects, the plants that are important to them and how the wellbeing of wildlife is also important for our own wellbeing. That's why it's important that we re-create places for insects and wildlife, a place to be and stay together. All visitors and local community members could pick up a free package of wildflower seeds from the local coffee shop. The installation is part of the Tallinn European Green Capital 2023 program. For this I created a biodegradable litmus plastic that would change colour when in contact with acidic or alkaline substances. In order to address how humans come in directs contact with acidic rain I decided to use clothes and my own body to measure the environments pH levels. My body then comes in direct contact with a specific space and a statement for the invisible signs of climate crisis. In exchange for providing old-skin, bodily fluids and mineral-rich air particles, new soil, humus and chance for life is created. In this continuous cycle, fungi become the top of the food chain in order for life on Earth to persist. Below is a visual narrative of feeding pods and experiments with the future body.
